EASN-TIS collaborates with Airbus Group Innovations, AALTO Design Factory, Cranfield University, Mormedi S.A. and Bertrandt GmbH to a 3-year collaborative project with Japan co- funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme titled “FUture Cabin for the Asian Market (FUCAM)”. FUCAM is aiming towards the development of a conceptual airplane cabin design dedicated to the Asian market for the year 2025 and onwards. The project was officially launched during the two day Kick-off meeting held on February 25th and 26th at the premises of the coordinator, AIRBUS Defence and Space located in Munich, Germany. During the meeting, the FUCAM partners had the opportunity to meet and decide upon the activities and interactions to be realized during the first months of the project.
